I thought the best place to start was with a quick introduction, who I am, what I do, and why I'm so passionate about creating websites that genuinely help businesses grow.
I'm Lance, a freelance web designer based in the UK, and I work with ambitious businesses that need a website reflecting the quality of what they offer. Over the years, I've designed and launched more than 100 websites for businesses across a wide range of industries, from professional services and consultants to health and wellness brands, education, hospitality and more.
One of the things I enjoy most about web design is that no two projects are ever the same. Every business has its own story, personality and goals, and I believe every website should reflect that. Rather than relying on generic templates or one-size-fits-all solutions, I take the time to understand each client and create something tailored specifically to their business.
A website is often the first impression someone has of your company. Within a matter of seconds, visitors will decide whether they trust your business and whether they want to take the next step. Good web design isn't just about making something look attractive, it's about building confidence, making information easy to find and creating an experience that encourages enquiries.
Through this blog, I'll be sharing insights from the projects I work on, practical web design advice, SEO tips, common mistakes I see businesses make, and ideas that can help you get more from your website. Whether you're planning a brand-new site, thinking about redesigning an existing one, or simply interested in learning more about web design, I hope you'll find something useful here.
I look forward to sharing more articles over the coming months. If you're considering a new website or simply want to chat about your project, I'd love to hear from you.
